I went full-time into photography in 2016 and opened my first studio in Edenvale in 2018. By the end of 2023, I moved to Randburg and transitioned into a cosy, tranquil boutique studio. In 2026, I intentionally scaled back studio shoots to focus more on authentic, home-based documentary lifestyle photography — because real life happens there.

Photography is my art form: minimalist, honest, with a little sprinkle here and there. When I lift my camera, I disappear into the frame — watching the light, the emotion, the moment just before it becomes a memory. And then… click.

I love working with tiny humans (earning the titles “Baby Whisperer” and “Cake Smash Guru” along the way), and I’m also a mom of two very active, curious kids who keep me grounded, exhausted, laughing, and occasionally questioning my sanity. Family comes first here — so yes, you might hear children in the background, and no, I don’t apologise for it.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me:

• With a cup of proper caffeinated coffee (and probably another one)
• Escaping into nature for calm and perspective
• Reading late into the night
• Pottering in the garden (I may have a slightly excessive plant collection)
• Dreaming about travelling more
• Or reminding myself to breathe and savour the small things

Because in the end, that’s what this work is really about — pausing long enough to notice, to feel, and to remember who we are beneath everything we’re carrying.
